I just started listening to my record collection six at a time and when your and Beaton's music played, it forced me to run to see what jacket it came from. Turns out it was a 1976 record of yours that's self-titled filed there right next to Benny Goodman. I don't know how this Rounder record got into my collection (it came out when I was still in college), but am thrilled to have found it.

MessageJust wondering where you are touring this summer. Will your web page be updated soon.
MessageI am doing a project for the heritage fair. It is due march 31st. I am 9yrs old and a student in grade four. I am doing this project in memory of Karen MacDonald who was a great insperation in my fiddle playing. She was a great person who made music fun and would want me to share it with others.Because of her I still practice my fiddle everyday and still continue to take lessons and go to competitions and celighs. I have been playing for 5yrs on the fiddle now and will be going to a mixed fiddle work shop in July where Jerry Holland will be teaching us. I am going to play a set on the fiddle and sing a celtic song as part of my project. I was wondering if you have any information on the background of celtic music and the fiddle you could send me. If not could you send me something telling me your love for the celtic traditions or why you love the celtic music and the fiddle so much, even your point of view on the celtic roots would be a great asset to my project and myself. In return I will send you a copy of the cd I do for my project. thank you very much for any help you can give me. Hayley Bowles
MessageHi Jerry, I am SO excited to see you are coming to Irish Fest this summer, and most of all I can't wait to take your Cape Breton fiddling class at the Irish Fest Summer School! I visited Cape Breton two years ago and have fallen in love with the fiddling there, and I play along with my CDs as often as possible. I'm so grateful you will be able to share your talents with us in Milwaukee, because unfortunately I wasn't able to see you perform in Cape Breton. Best regards, and looking forward to meeting you! Mike Kurz
MessageGerry: Lucy & I remember you when, in the early 60"s we saw you at a young age perform at the Orange Hall, French Club and the 202/now Canadian American club. You are a great talent and credit to your ancestry. Your fiddling and music has become so well known world wide. We always enjoy hearing your music. We too, are former CB'rs living in Waltham since 1963. Keep up this fine tradition. Your a credit to the industry. We have seen you also years ago at house parties at Teddy & Annette AuCoins' home. Regards and best of luck always: Paul & Lucy Ryan

MessageGood bye, please excuse my English.I live in France, i am 53 years old, and i cant find your marvellous CD "fiddlesticks collection". Is there any possibilty in the future to have it printed again? Is it possible to find it in bargain shops in Canada or internet sites in Canada and United States? Thank you for your answer and well done for our very fine music. Francis REGIS
MessageHope to be able to see and hear you while we are in the Maritimes. Sep 5 - 20.
MessageI bought "For Mother Dear" for $0.99 from iTunes, and a lot of others the same day. When I discovered some very objectionable glitches or skips on the recording I demanded my money back, but because of their misunderstanding me they refunde nearly $10.00 instead of $0.99. So I made money on the transaction. I'd be willing to split the difference with you if you like. I threatened to tell you about the recording unless they stopped selling it as is. Anyhow it makes a funny story and I hear it quite often on my ipod; glitches and all. I saw you last week at Augusta and loved "Tears". You are a great musician , keep up the good work. Phil

MessageHi Jerry I'm a caper who has been living in Japan for the last 16 years but I still try to keep in touch with my roots. Actually I recently completed an amatuer \Fiddle CD in honour of my grandmother who past away last year. It has been a life time dream and to finally realize it was truly wonderful. Most of the tunes on it are my own creations. Also I've recently composed a tune in honour of you. It's called Jerry's Majestic Sound. I'm sure you must get alot of e-mail but if you have the time a would love to send to you and get you honest reaction. William
